Home buying fiasco

Well the house (townhouse) we were looking to buy fell through because our household only has one income and we'd have to put down a higher downpayment than we could afford so ....
We're stuck in this small apartment for a while longer :(

Jon is now looking into buying a home in Nova Scotia because prices are A LOT lower than they are here in Alberta. Then his mother will move in with us and share the bills because she wants to move back to N.S. from Ontario.
Not sure what general area though because they want to be close to Halifax, but not Dartmouth. Jon will probably be working in Edmonton with Park Paving during the Summers like he was doing before we all moved here last August. I'm not thrilled about that prospect at all but life isn't perfect, this isn't a perfect World so we'll manage the best we can with what we have I suppose.
I am soooo tired of moving. Something is telling me this won't be the last time we move. Jon has a very hard time planting roots anywhere and it's frustrating. Edmonton was supposed to be our last move too but that didn't last long.
